Brielle

Brielle is starting preschool tomorrow (Thursday). I'm not sure who's more excited, me or Brielle. Also Brielle is still playing the piano. She keeps getting better and still likes it. She usually plays for a while everyday without me telling her. She loves to play with Brooke. Mostly she just likes having an audience and Brooke accomodates her nicely. She calls this outfit her farmer Brown outfit and sings Old Macdonald for most of the day.

Brooke eats solid food now

And she makes a big mess of it too. She's not that fond of baby food but I found a few things she likes. She likes cereal and pears, green beans and cereal, and the chicken and rice dinner.

another 4th of July post

I forgot one thing I wanted to add to what we did for 4th of July. Our ward had a 4th of July breakfast and bike parade. We went and it was fun. Brielle actually got over her fear of her two wheeler and rode it round and round the empty parking lot.

Following Instructions

Jenny said I didn't have enough pictures on my blog. So I'm adding pictures. Brooke is growing big. She can sit up now all by herself. She's gotten fussier as she's gotten older too. I miss the four month old baby who used to just fall asleep all by herself. She's gotten cuter too though. She laughs and smiles all the time. She loves Brielle. Brielle can always get the biggest response from her, whether it's laughing hysterically or screaming. Brielle likes to play with her a little bit everyday. She has one game she liked to play. It's called baby tag. Brooke lies on the ground and Brielle runs from either side of her. They both end up laughing and laughing. Brooke's head whips from side to side as she watches Brielle and laughs. Brielle thinks it's funny too.

watching fire works

Okay, so I'm a horrible blogger. Some people put new posts up daily or weekly, I'm lucky if I get something up monthly. It is now August and I'm writing about the fourth of July. I know it's a distant memory for most people now. Well we went down to some Chandler fireworks. Brielle was very excited. She called them booms and remembered seeing them last year. It said it was supposed to start, oh I can't remember now, maybe 9:00 or 9:30. But the fireworks didn't come until 10:00 and Brielle was exhausted. Brooke just slept in her car seat completely oblivious. She had more fun watching the fireworks that were way off in the distant that happened earlier than the ones that were big and overhead. It was too late for her and she just wanted to go home and sleep. She wasn't scared at all though. Still it was fun.
