Catching Up

The Saturday before the fourth Charla had everyone over at her house for a party. They had good food and then when it got dark they lit a lot of fireworks. It was fun and Brookie couldn't decide which she liked better, the fireworks at Charla's or the big fireworks in the sky. I think she liked how close she was to the ones at Charla's.

We got to see Cinderella at the Broadway Palms with my mom. She had gotten a gift certificate there from one of her students. We had lunch there at their buffett and then watched the show. I thought it was pretty well done and fun to see.

Fourth of July

For the Fourth we went and saw fireworks at Schneff Farm's. The kids loved it and went on water slides over and over and rode pony rides and ate shaved ice.

They loved watching the fireworks and talked about it for days afterward.

Good bye First Grade

These are from Brielle's last day of school party. She really enjoyed her class and teacher and loves Legacy now. She gets good grades, A's and B's and prides herself on her perfect green light record. (the kids stay on green light if they are good and move to yellow or red if they misbehave.)

In May we went to Amazing Jakes as our family vacation. The kids absolutely fell in love with it. They loved the little roller coaster and laser tag and the teacups. Afterwards Brielle decided she was to go to Amazing Jakes for her birthday too.

Alladin Jr.

Brielle was in the school musical Alladin. She was in the chorus and Ashley came over and helped her put make up on.

Dance Class

Brooke and Brielle both started dance back in May (I know I'm way behind.) They both love it. Brooke is in a ballet, tap, jazz combo class for 3-5 year olds and Brielle is in beginning ballet. Brooke says her favorite is tap. I love watching them. Brooke's class is especially funny. The teacher once had the kids do jumping jacks and Brooke stood in one place and just raised her hands up and down.
