We've Moved
We are no longer living in Tucson. We moved to Gilbert in April rather suddenly. Chad decided to just test to the market to see what the jobs were like and suddenly he had almost 20 calls the same week, four interviews accompanied by four job offers.
Here is a picture of the patio at our new apartment. I really like it.

Easter
This post was written in March and I didn't post it because my pictures were'nt downloaded yet from my camera, now finally I've downloaded the pictures so here is this written back in March.
We had a nice quiet Easter. I found in my purse (also known as the pit of no return) some gift cards that I had forgotten about and wasn't sure how much money was left. I called to find out how much and was surprised I had some money left. I decided to get Brielle an Easter dress since the next day was Easter Sunday and while the dress she has is beautiful, she hates it and
thinks its scratchy. It makes getting dressed on Sunday a little bit harder. So I thought it would be fun to get her a new dress and let her pick it out with my help. It was fun. She found a cute blue and white polka dotted dress that she liked and she played in the play area and we ate in the food court. Brooke came along too and was her normal quiet content self.
Easter morning Brielle was excited to wake up to an Easter basket sitting on top of Candy Land. We managed to play the game once before we had to get ready for church. She also got a stuffed Easter Bunny and lots of candy, which sadly, was gone by the end of the day.

Long Time no Post
I can't believe I've waited this long to post anything. It's been almost six months and a lot has happened. The biggest thing is
the birth of our second girl, Brooke Ann Cotter. She was born December 28, 2007. She was only 6 pounds 13 ounces which seemed very small to me since Brielle was 8 pounds. She is a very good baby and calm from the very start. The nurses were all surprised that after she was born she hardly cried and didn't even make a sound when they gave her a shot. She's still very easy going and loves to just hang out on the floor and talk to whoever happens to be near.

Brielle loves her to death and thinks she should be the one to take care of her all day. She even gets upset when the baby takes a nap. Once when she was bored I suggested that she play with her baby dolls (she was playing with them almost everyday before the baby was born) but she said she'd rather play with the real baby. She gets a little jealous from time to time too and told me the other day that she wished she had her own mommy and didn't want to share. She's been a little emotional with wanting to help and love the baby to excess and then being jealous when I have to feed the baby. I'm hoping that she will settle down eventually.

She loves to be busy and hates hanging out at home so I am grateful for her preschool she has three days a week at the local high school. She loves preschool. It's in the afternoon so she asks all morning when preschool starts and if we're late yet and shouldn't we hurry. Another thing she loves is playing the piano. She started taking piano with a lady in our ward. We trade teaching piano lessons, she teaches Brielle and I teach one her kids. She has been really enjoying it and sits at the piano several times a day to practice. I try and practice with her at least a couple times a week but most of the practicing she does by herself.
Brooke is growing big fast. She is now 11 pounds and will be three months by the end of this month. She smiles a lot and coos. She loves to talk to her big sister. She was blessed on March 2nd and lots of family came down, all of Chad and I's brothers and sisters came down along with our parents it made a big group of around 20 people.
I am teaching piano in Queen Creek at my mom's house. I have about 13 students and am looking for more. I enjoy coming up and teaching and I really like all my students. So this post is huge and could have been several posts, but oh well.

Too the zoo

Last week was my mom's fall break so Brielle and I headed up there to go to Schneff's Farms with mom, Jenny and Calli. Unfortunately Schneff's Farms is closed on Monday, so instead we headed to the zoo. Brielle was very disappointed but was ok with going to the zoo instead. Here are some pictures from our trip.

Happy Birthday Chad!

Chad had his birthday this month and he is now the ripe old age (and he really does think he's old haha) of 31. I have a very funny husband. He didn't want to go out to eat for his birthday (and he felt El Charro was to far of a drive for his birthday or else he would have gone there) so I offered to bring something home for him since I know that he really doesn't like going to restaurants but often would rather eat the restaurant food in the privacy of own home. I also offered to cook whatever he wanted but he choose to have Cousin's Subs brought home. Then I wanted to know what kind of cake or pie or whatever he wanted. He said he wanted nothing but I told him he had to have something so we could put a candle on it and sing Happy Birthday so him which was more for Brielle's sake than his. So of everything he could choose he wanted chocolate Hostess cupcakes. So that's why he's blowing out his candles off of Hostess cupcakes and not a cake. Its not cause his wife can't make a cake or forgot and rummaged through the pantry for something.
Brielle was really cute for the whole thing and so excited. I had taken her to Target earlier that week and she got Chad a pillow because he had been wanting another one since I hog the third pillow now that I'm pregnant. So she helped me wrap the present but then decided one present wasn't enough for Chad (he had gotten himself some video games for his birthday too he didn't just get a pillow for his birthday). I told to go look for something to get him then. She went into her room and came out with her purple blanket that's just big enough to barely cover her and she often uses it to play with her babies, so we wrapped that too. She was so excited she jumped up and down when Chad came home and started yelling that she had got him a nice comfy blanket for his blanket. Of course she helped him unwrap everything, sung Happy Birthday to him really loud and almost quivered with excitement while her hands clenched and unclenched when he blew out his candles.
