Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was wonderful. The girls were both excited to get Easter baskets early in the morning. Brooke had forgotten about Easter and so was surprised to get an Easter basket. Brielle had tried to explain to her that she was getting an easter basket in the morning but that didn't mean much to her. She already had an Easter bastket. They each got matching dresses, new matching church shoes, new swimming suits, new flip flops, a new my little pony, and a hoody bath towel. They went throught their baskets and then I got them dressed and ready for 8:00 church. We were actually on time, though I didn't make the early chior practice that I was supposed to go to.

After church Chad griled hot dogs for lunch and we outside. It was a beautiful day and I loved sitting out there enjoying what was left of the cooler weather and talking to Chad while the kids ran around the backyard playing.

Then we went to my dad's house for dinner. The kids got to have another easter egg hunt there and eat my dad's delicious food.

Cooley Easter Party

The next weekend was the Cooley Easter party. It was at my Aunt Sharon's house and all of my mother's brothers and sisters were invited. My grandma Cooley was there with her little dog, but the number of children had shrunk a lot. Only five kids did the easter egg hunt. I remember when there was twenty of more cousins all running around my grandma's big backyark off of Baseline road searching for easter eggs. Time flies.

Cotter Easter party

The Saturday before Easter we hosted the Cotter Easter Party. Everyone was able to come so we had a lot of fun. We had an Easter egg hunt and lots of yummy food, honey baked ham, home made rolls, deviled eggs, salad, and the best tasting bunny cakes ever.

Funny story

Today during sacrement meeting Brookie started squirming and then said "I need to go potty now Mommy."

So we rushed out and walked quickly down the hall to the bathroom. I got her sitting on the potty and she started going. Then she said, "Phew, I almost peed on Jesus's floor."

Swimming Time

One hopt day in April there was a half day on Friday and before I dropped Brielle off at school I told her I had a surprise for her. Then when I picked her up Brooke was in her swimming suit and we had Brielle's suit and instead of walking back home we walked next door to the splash pad and I let the kids run around. (and they did run around constantly from spray to spray without any stop like crazed chickens) Then we tried out the pool. It was too cold for me but Brielle got soaked and swam and Brookie waded in the two fee deep section.

Car Wash

Brielle is in her school musical, Alladin. To raise money for props and sets they had a car wash.

Doesn't she look happy help?

My new camera phone

I got a new camera when we renewed our agreement with Verizon and I choose a phone with a better camera. Even though it's a camera phone I think it's better than our old camera which wasn't all that great when we bought it six years ago anyways. Besides it started doing funny things when I would take pictures. So until I get a new real camera my camera phone is what I used. I had to try it out when I got it so here are a few random pictures. The camera finicky so not all the pictures come out just right.
