To Flagstaff

Getting into the car to leave, Wednesday Decdember 28th. I think we left
around 11.

All set to go.

We made to Flagstaff around 2:30 and decided to go straight to
the sledding area. I'm glad we did because the next day there was even less snow.

There was enough snow for sledding though.

Weeee!

Yay!

It was a pretty warm day and the snow melting fast.
This hill was huge!

Brookie is nervous to go down the hill.

Brielle loved the big hill.

Christmas Day

After we ate brunch everyone went to the park. Bill had brought baby Elyse's Christmas present, a remote control car and a remote control helicopter. The kids had fun being chased by the car.

My little sassy girl.

Playing in the sand, Brookie noticed I was taking a picture and posed.

The boys played basketball.

Christmas Morning

Christmas Morning before the kids woke up.

Tinkerbell fairies, this has been one of Brooke's favorites.

Santa got Brooke all the Disney Princess dolls.
I didn't get a picture of Brielle with her Our Generation Doll, but that was her present along with a bed for it.
They couldn't wait for Chad to open the present from them.

Brookie also got some paint and art supplies.
The kids woke up at 5:00 A.M. We tried to get them to sleep a little longer but it was too hard. After everything was opened we got ready for 8 A.M. church. We were even on time. After church the Cotters came over for some brunch.

Cooley Christmas Eve

After the Jones's party we went to the
Cooley Christmas Eve party. Chad woke up
pretty sick so he didn't come. They had a
white elephant gift exchange and lots of
good food. There was a lot of people
but the number of little kids is dwindling, a lot
teenagers though.

Jones's Christmas Eve party

Brookie doesn't like to smile for the camera

But she does like to make faces.
There's a smile.
We were lucky that the Jones's decided to do their Christmas Party at 12 so we could make it to two Christmas Eve parties. I don't mind going to more than one if I can stay, but I hate going to a bunch of partial parties.

Ashley and Brielle

Some of the great grandchildren.

Brielle and Santa
Brielle and Brooke's favorite thing about the Jones party is that they get to open the present from Great Grandma Jones. Brielle got Skechers Twinkle Toes tennis shoes and Brookie got a Snow White polly pocket doll with prince charming and a horse and carriage. Santa always comes to this party.

Tate Christmas Party

The week before Christmas was the Tate Christmas party. I really enjoyed seeing everyone and was surprised that so many people made it.
Brookie likes her desserts.

All the Tate brothers and sisters did a musical number.

Brielle's School Christmas Party

The last day of school for Brielle was December 16th and their school policy is that they may have one party the last hour for Halloween, Christmast Valentines and the last day of School. I went and helped and it was fun to see Brielle with all her friends. The parents plan and execute the entire party. One thing I love about her school is that the parents are very involved.
They made Christmas ornaments.

Brielle and her friend Haley

Here they made snowman cookies.
