My First Garden

I planted my very first garden this spring. This picture is actually from February and my plants are much bigger now. I planted cherry tomatoes, regular tomatoes, zuchini, yellow squash, carrots, strawberries, and garlic.

Valentines school party

Me and Brooke went and helped in Brielle's Kindergarten Valentine Party. I'm not sure how much Brooke helped but she didn't do too bad.


I think Brielle has a crush on these two boys. She won't admit it though.

Chad bought the girls some kites and they have had a blast playing with them. The girls even get them out themselves and run around the yard when there is no wind.

Brielle

Brielle is a sweet angel. She is in Kindergarten all day and loves her teacher, but not school. She says it's too much work even though she does really well at it.

Last Sunday she had the sweetest answer in Primary. The teacher wanted the children to finish the phrase, "I am grateful for my Savior because..." Most of the other children said, "because He helps me." Then she choose Brielle and she said, "because He makes my mistakes not bad." I was surprised and touched. We have talked a lot about mistakes and how it's okay to make a mistake and that Jesus can take our mistakes away. She has lots of issues about being perfect and has a hard time dealing with making a mistake. I thought the answer was such a sweet protrayal of a five year old's understanding of the atonement.

Brooke

Here are some of my favorite pictures of Brooke. It was hard to choose, all of them turned out so good. She is still a spunky little girl but her tantrums are getting less and I can actually reason with her a little. She likes dress up, books, coloring, painting, and standing on her step stool and singing at the top of her lungs.
