Disneyland!!!

Disneyland was so fun! We planned on going two days but ended up doing three. Here is our trip.

Packed and in the car, ready to head to California!

Quick pit stop at Grandma's to eat Mcdonalds and then we caravanned to California.

The girls switched cars to watch movies in Grandma's van and I hung out with baby in the backseat.

He was a good little traveler and only cried for a short period of  about 15 minutes and that was it for the whole trip.

Our hotel room. We stayed at the Homewood Suites. It had a  kitchenette a sitting room and a bedroom with two queen beds.

We got there at about 3:30.

After we settled into our hotel room we decided to go and check out Downtown Disney.

We ate at the House of Blues. It was pretty good. I liked my food but Chad wasn't impressed.

Then we walked around and looked at all the shops.

The girls brought their allowance money and bought these glow with  the show hats.

They light up and match the Fantasmic show and the color of lights show.

First Day at Disneyland!!

The line went pretty fast. It was hard to snap a picture before the line started moving again.

It was our fist ride so we went a little crazy on taking pictures.

Grandma waited with the baby. She said this ride made her motion sick.

We only had to wait about 15 minutes. This was one of the girls' favorite rides.

Brooke loved the ride and was one her favorites, everyone else wouldn't mind passing on it.

Pirates of the Carribean

Before the Pirates we went on the Matterhorn. Brielle loved it but Brooke was scared.

They both liked the Pirates of the Carribean.

The new show Mickey and Magical Map.

It's definitely worth seeing. I really enjoyed it and the kids liked it too.

Small World (Tate's favorite)

The girls liked it too, but we all thought it was cute that Tate kept trying to turn around to see everything as the boat was leaving.

The adults were all rather worn out by this point and we still hadn't even been to Fantasy Land.

Next we went on Splash Mountain and then we were heading to Fantasyland and saw the Tikki Room and the Dole whip float.

Then we took our ice cream to the Tikki Room and the girls enjoyed the show. I liked being able to sit.

Brooke wouldn't get out of the stroller to take a picture in front of the castle. She was done. Getting a stroller for her though was one of the best things we did.

We were lucky that the Royal Hall with the princesses had no line. They had stayed open late.

The royal hall was one of Brielle's favorites. Brooke liked it okay, eventaully she said it was fun to see the princesses.

Day 2 at Disneyland!

We got to a late start the second day since we were so worn out from the first day. It was almost  10:30 by the time we got into California Adventures and Tate was having his morning nap.

Cars Land! 

We thought California Adventure Land was really fun. It was our first time going there.

We got there too late to get a fast pass. They were all gone by 10.

The line was about and hour and a half.

And it kept breaking.

This ended up being one of their favorites and they said it was worth the wait afterwards.

lunch time - it was already three. 

We weren't as efficient the second and day it seemed like the day was almost gone and we'd barely gone on any rides.

Brooke was already wearing out. No pictured was the Grizzly rapid ride and Soarin Over California. The girls loved the rapid ride and thought Soarin was just fun.

Brielle really wanted to go on this swing ride.

I had to ride with Brooke or else she couldn't go. It made me sick, but Brooke said "That was awesome!" When she got off the ride.

Brielle liked it too.

I was surprised that it was Brielle who really liked seeing all of the characters at Disneyland. I thought Brooke would like it more since she was younger and probably believed they were real.

Tate got to ride this one. He was sooo good the whole trip.

Toy Story Mania

This ride was one of my favorites.

World of Color Show - not worth staying up for. It was okay but Fantasmic is way better and worth being exhausted and seeing.

We were so tired we could hardly walk.

We were planning on heading home after the second day but we had so much fun we decided to stay a third day and drive home all night.

Brielle was lucky to see Mickey just as he arrived so there was no line.

Then she saw Pluto and ran to him.

Brooke wasn't sure she even wanted to go to Disneyland a 3rd day and wouldn't stand by either of them to get her picture taken.

Waiting for the Snow White ride. We hadn't ever made it to Fantasyland so the third day we went there after a second ride on Star Tours.

Over in California Adventures we went on the Monster's Inc. ride.

The sorceror's workshop, which was a lot neater than I thought it would be. 

The girls loved it. You answered questions and the book told you which character you most like. Brielle was Tangled and Brooke was Lilo.

Turtle talk with Crush

I think Brooke is trying to be a fish. Turtle Talk was fun, definitely worth going.

We saw Aladdin. I really enjoyed it and so did the kids. It was one of our favorite things.

Bugs Life, another one I'm glad we didn't miss.

He was such a good sport the whole trip and just slept in his stroller when he was tired and sat happily when he was awake.

Good bye Disneyland!
We drove back all night. It was so hard to stay awake but we did it. Neither of us slept at all because we both afraid that if one of slept the other might fall asleep. We got back at 4 in the morning.

The whole trip was so fun. I'm glad we got to go and that we got to go three days. The girls said their favorite rides were Star Tours and Radiator Springs. Brielle also loved The Matterhorn.
